As a good patriot we will start our adventure with the region of Galicia.
Country, farm and sea products are unique in their characteristics and quality. The importance of this gastronomy is manifested at the more than 300 gastronomic parties which are held in Galicia throughout the year. The activity of getting the family together and sharing a meal with plenty of wine over a couple of hours is a daily routine and form a major part of my region culture.

Galicia is located in the extreme northwestern corner of Spain. Galicia’s west coast is on the Atlantic Ocean while the north coast is on the Cantabric Sea. It is a cold, wet climate, with rugged terrain and over 700 miles of rocky coastlines and historically one of the poorest areas of Spain.
